Entrepreneurship Learning Center

The WKCTC Entrepreneurship Learning Center encompasses all aspects of becoming a successfulentrepreneur and small business owner. Students have access to computers to conduct research for their business plans, and they have access to a certifiedNxLevel trainer or business professional to discuss individual needs and concerns. The Center is sponsored by WKCTC and The Coleman Foundation.

BUSINESS ORIENTATION WORKSHOPS

Business orientation workshops will be held every Thursday in Paducah at 10:00 a.m. by appointment only. Those that would like to attend the orientation must pre-register by contacting Norma Reed Pruitt, the Purchase Area Development District Director of Financial Programs, to set up an initial appointment. There will also be BOW’s held in Mayfield for those who need additional options. (270) 251-6118

BUSINESS PLAN BASICS - THE COURSE

Once you have completed our orientation program and have your individual goal in mind you will begin or finish your business plan. Business Plan Basics is a five week course that will bring you from idea to completion. In five weeks or less we will take your dream and turn it into a clear concise, workablebusiness plan. With your hard work and dedication you will have a business plan that works for you.

BUSINESS PLAN REVIEW

Now that you have had the opportunity to research and write a working business plan, it is time to evaluate. Once class is finished or you have taken the sections that fit your current need, you will sit down with a certified trainer or business professional to discuss your desired outcome and the future of your company. This step will lead each individual entrepreneur down a very different path and completed business plans will be evaluated one-on-one for clarity and effectiveness.
