Certification Education Hours (CEU)

The Training Center for Community & Economic Development offers regulatory training for individuals who are licensed/certified through the state of Kentucky. Participants are given continuing education units to retain their license on an annual basis. The number of CEU’s awarded vary upon the individual licensing boards who govern that particular profession.

Nursing CEU Courses Flexible Nursing Continuing Education Programs: Computerized Instruction

Electrical Continuing Education For Electricians, Master Electricians, and Electrical Contractors to satisfy the Office of Kentucky Housing, Buildings, and Construction requirements for Electrical License renewal.

HVAC Journeyman Journeymen are notified of training available to fulfill their eight hours of CEU’s to retain their license.

HVAC Master Contractors- Contractors are required to have eight CEU’s to maintain their license. Classes are available for this purpose.

OSHA 10 - Hr Construction Certification - Completion of specific topics, in contact hour increments of 10 hours earns recipients the card that is issued through OSHA.
Date: October 16th and 17th, 2008
Time: 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (Oct 16th)
Time: 12:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. (Oct 17th)
Cost: $129 (based upon minimum 10 attendees)

Water/Wastewater Treatment- Required continuing education is available to licensed water and wastewater operators.

Insurance Pre-licensure and Re-registration- Both pre-licensure and re-registration classes are offered.
