Crazy Quilting - It's all about what you want
This course covers (1) the most popular crazy quilt embroidery stitches, tools, and methods for transferring motifs, (2) some new tricks for crazy quilt embroidery, and (3) ways to use beads and other novelties to further embellish a crazy quilt. A variety of ways to finish the product will be included. A $35 materials fee will be collected the first day of class.

MOTORCYCLE TRAINING/CONTINUING EDUCATION

As part of our Community Education program, the Training Center offers a full range of Motorcycle Training and Continuing Education classes.

SIGN-UP INFORMATION

The registration deadline is seven days prior to each class starting date. Register early so your class is not cancelled due to lack of enrollment. Call to check the status of your class and where your class will meet. If you do not have a registration form, please send in your name, Social Security number, name of the classes you are registering in, daytime and cell phone numbers, mailing address and e-mail address. Make your check or Money Order payable to West Kentucky Community & Technical College (WKCTC) and mail to Training Center, PO Box 7380, Paducah, KY 42002-7380.

Space in a class is reserved on a first-come, first-served basis when a paid registration is received. In order to reduce paper waste, no registration confirmations will be mailed.

College or CEU credit awarded for courses that qualify. If you need a certificate of completion, please notify us at the time of registration.

REFUND POLICY

Cancellations must be made seven days in advance of the class starting date. Refunds generally take about four weeks to process. Failure to attend class does not constitute cancellation. The College reserves the right to cancel any program. You will be notified of any cancellation and will receive a full refund. Questions? Call 270-534-3335.

INSURANCE

The Training Center does not provide accident insurance for anyone registered in any course through our Center. Those wanting such coverage should make arrangements with their insurance agent.

INCLEMENT WEATHER

Please listen to local radio and TV news and follow campus closings. The Training Center only cancels classes if the College is closed - meaning no one goes to work, no one goes to classes, and buildings are closed. A delayed schedule does not affect the Training Center classes. We hold them as scheduled. A delayed schedule is only for the students on campus and their class's start later at 10 am.

DIRECTIONS TO THE ANDERSON BUILDING
The Anderson Building is located on the campus of West Kentucky Community and Technical College at 5200 Alben Barkley Drive (Highway 62).

DIRECTIONS TO ALLIED HEALTH BUILDING
Enter the main entrance of the campus at 4810 Alben Barkley Drive and drive straight to back parking lot until you come to STOP sign. At STOP sign, turn right. The Allied Health Building is the first building on your right. A large marquee in the yard identifies the building. Enter the building from the right entrance doors. Signs will be posted on the inner lobby doors indicating where your classes are located. All classes will be in the east wing of the building.

PARKING REGULATIONS ON THE COLLEGE CAMPUS
No parking permits are required, but these parking regulations MUST be adhered to. Parking tickets cannot be "fixed." The Training Center will not be held responsible for citations given to students.

  • Do not pull through parking spaces
  • Do not park over painted lines

Before locking your vehicle, be sure to remove your keys. We do not have the necessary tools to unlock your vehicle.
