Lean Six Sigma Programs
Lean Six Sigma is a methodology that utilizes a formal process
and a variety of tools, including statistical analysis, to help
companies reduce their costs and improve their profitability.
It is a customer-focused strategy that provides a process for
reducing costs through elimination of defects and reduction in
variation. Utilizing Lean Six Sigma has enabled healthcare. manufacturing,
service, financial, educational and retail organizations to increase
productivity and profits.
Introduction to Lean Six Sigma (4 hours)
Gain a basic understanding of Lean Six Sigma and what implementation
could mean to your organization. Learn what is required to support
effective Lean Six Sigma launch.
Lean Six Champions (8 hours)
This course will provide an overview of Lean Six Sigma. The organizational
structure needed to support launch of a successful Lean Six Sigma
implementation will be presented. Participants will learn the
key roles that Champions play in the success of Lean Six Sigma.
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certifications
(8 classroom days. 6 hours of individual project coaching, completion
of project and exam)
This intensive eight day course will provide the knowledge and skills
necessary for Green Belts to lead or participate on Lean Six Sigma
project teams. The DMAIC methodology [Define, Measure, Analyze.
Improve, Control] will be thoroughly covered. Core tools used
in each phase will be presented and participants will have the
opportunity to work through exercises. Certification requires
attendance at all eight days of class, participation in scheduled
project coaching sessions, completion of a Green Belt project
and successfully passing a Green Belt written exam.
Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Bridge with Black Belt Certification
(8 classroom days, 8 hours of individual project coaching completion
or project and exam) -
MUST be a Certified Green Belt to enroll.
This class takes participants from the Green Belt to the Black
Belt level. Additional tools and methods for advanced data collection
and analysis will be presented. Participants will learn to focus
on improving both customer satisfaction and profits through improved
quality, enhanced productivity and reduced cost.
ASQ
Certified Six Sigma Black Belt Exam Review Course (24 hours)
This
course is designed for the individual who has completed Black
Belt training and at least two Six Sigma projects. The course
is an exam prep course that assumes knowledge; it is a fast paced
review of the Six Sigma materials that are covered in the ASQ
body of knowledge.
Public classes for all of the above are regularly scheduled. Certified
Master Black Belt and Black Belt instructors are also available
to assist with company specific training and launch.
