OSHA Guidelines & Training
Introduction
As of April 15, 2002 the Four Rivers Safety Council began
sponsoring OSHA-related safety courses for all contractors
that perform work in the member facilities. The courses
include a 4-hour Basic OSHA Safety Awareness Course, a Calvert
City Area Plant Common Orientation, and site-specific orientations
for each of the participating facilities.
The Four Rivers Safety Council training is designed and
approved by the participating facilities to provide the
basic safety training for a contractor working at the facility.
This training does not address every possible issue within
the facility. Contractors are encouraged to ask questions
and seek additional information about the specific work
required.
