What Do I Need to Do to Apply?
Step 1: Prepare Your Application
- Complete Application Form
- Secure 3 letters of reference
- Provide a copy of GED, HS Diploma or Transcript (those admitted will
need to submit an official copy at a later date)
- Complete releases of information for WKCTC to contact references,
interested agencies and potential employers.
Step 2: Turn in Your Paperwork
- Turn all paperwork in to the Office of Employment & Training. Address: 416
S. 6th St. Paducah, KY
- Office of Employment & Training will conduct preliminary screening
to ensure all applicants meet basic qualifications.
Time is limited. So turn in your application as soon as possible.
Step 3: Participate in Screening Interview
- Participate in Screening Interview
Step 4: Secure Drug Test
- If selected for final consideration, you will need to complete
appropriate paperwork, complete a drug screen and pay a fee
of $45.
Step 5: Complete Compass Test
- If selected, contact WKCTC to schedule required Compass assessments.

Step 6: Attend Interviews
- If selected, participate in final interview
Step 7: Prepare to Start Class
