The American Quilter's Society (AQS) and West Kentucky Community and Technical College (WKCTC) have partnered to enable participants to earn college credit. Credit is available for classes taken as follows:

  • Workshops taken at AQS quilt shows in Paducah, KY; Nashville, TN; and Des Moines, IA.
  • Classes provided by the Museum of the American Quilter's Society (MAQS) in Paducah, KY.
  • Online quilting classes provided by West Kentucky Community and Technical College.

The following certificates are available through the partnership: (see details)

  • Basic Quilting
  • Advanced Quilting
  • Intermediate Quilting
  • Master Quilting

How To Register For Classes & College Credit:

  • First register for classes with the AQS and/or the MAQS.
    • AQS & MAQS will forward your request for credit to Dr. McInturff
    • If you fail to preregister with the WKCTC, it is possible to register with the college representative at each of the quilt shows.
  • WKCTC will follow up with you on registration for credit.
